Sunday Schedule

On Sundays, Grace
Church at Vinehill will be together with Grace Church at Hermitage.
Normal service time is 10 am, excepting the third Sunday of each
month when we meet at 5:30 pm. Phone to confirm time and
location (which may vary). Brent MacDonald is a pastor/elder
and regular teacher. Teaching is shared primarily among the
elders of the church.

Overview and
History
Church is all
about the people! Fulfilling a long time dream of having something
for the whole family, beginning in June of 2005, a small group began
to fellowship at Cottage Cove each Sunday morning. By 2008, the last
Sunday of each month became an evening gathering. As of January 2010,
responding to changing needs, we began meeting only in the
evening. By mid 2011 we have functionally merged with Grace
Church Hermitage for Sunday worship. We are not about a
building, so as needs dictate we have meet in a community center, at
Cottage Cove, or in a home.
Is this for you?
#1. We are very
casual, most of us (including those teaching) do not get dressed up.
There's often a snack and we're typically in a living room type
setting or sitting around tables.
#2. Our focus is
on God's Word, the Bible! Are you interested in learning what the
Bible says and not what people and tradition claim it says?
#3. We welcome
questions and interaction during the teaching time.
#4. We
typically do not have child care, but please ask in advance is you
need such. We welcome, and have, pre-teens and teens in our
regular services.
#5. We do not take
up an "offering." Rather, there is a box (typcially at the
rear of the room) which any gifts can be placed in, without any
obligation or pressure. Any gifts designated to Cottage Cove,
or given at meetings held at Cottage Cove, will be specifically
utilized for outreaches directly related to Grace Church at Vinehill
and/or Cottage Cove.

Vinehill (a.k.a "the Church at Cottage Cove") is affiliated
with Grace Church at Hermitage (TBC/SBC)
and the Southeast district of the
Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).
